The Silent Struggle: The Challenges of Expecting Mind-Reading from Others

I feel EXPECTING (implicitly/explicitly) PEOPLE TO READ YOUR MIND is a very parochial form of tyranny, it blames people for something they have no control over in the name of acceptance/validation or belonging.

It's ironic that the people who demand this are either hyper insecure skilled individuals who get their feeling of importance by popularity and oppression OR polarised end of the spectrum who don't have their shit together but believe it's a mark of connection, romance and love.

It's funny both of them usually have to remind themselves of things i.e. do this, do that, you got this, you're in control, you're special, you're strong, you know where the keys are, I need to mow the lawn, positive affirmations to self love quotes, self assurances in rejection - but lack the humility to give the same courtesy to other humans, it's JUST ANOTHER HIGH at the expense of OTHERS - عدنان
